Legacy Keepers of Old East McKinney

The History Museum is proud to partner with the Legacy Keepers of Old East McKinney for three events they hosted in February 2021 at Pecan Grove and Ross Cemeteries and at the MPAC in downtown McKinney.

Purpose of the Legacy Keepers

Legacy Keepers will use the strength of our unique identities in a collective framework to document, honor, and promote the historic legacies of McKinney's Black and Mexican communities, ensuring that all cultures are natural parts of the community's experience.
