Meet Stubby WWI Dog Hero

Stubby Look Alike Event

In April 2018, the History Museum held an event to launch the national release of the movie Sgt.Stubby: An American Hero. The museum worked in coordination Fun Academy Studio, Cinemark Movies, and with elementary schools across Collin County to invite students to see the movie and visit the WWI exhibit at the museum to meet our Stubby look alike. The movie release and the Stubby event were a huge success.

SGT. STUBBY: AN AMERICAN HERO is a feature film based on the incredible true story of America’s most decorated dog. After being rescued off the streets by a young Soldier on the eve of America’s entry in World War I, Stubby is given a home, a family, and the chance to embark on the adventure that would define a century.
